Jasmine Liu
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Jasmine Liu is the CEO of a sought-after cannabis consulting company based on Vancouver Island. Before founding Camas Consulting in 2018, she completed an M.A. in Political Science at the University of Victoria, and worked as the Supply Chain Management & Government Relations Officer for a reputable craft cannabis retailer. Using her substantial knowledge on government policy and business development in the cannabis sector, she has brought together a team of skilled subject matter experts with specialized industry knowledge and business acumen required to successfully launch licensed Canadian cannabis business ventures.

Marc Pinkoski
Government Relations Manager
Marc Pinkoski joined Camas Consulting in December of 2018 as the Government Relations Manager and now works with a variety of Camas clients on obtaining provincial and federal cannabis licensing. He brings 25 years of experience to the company with an interdisciplinary PhD from the University of Victoria and a career focused on supporting Indigenous communities in advocating for resource and environmental protection, and social development.

Alaina Trenholm
Compliance & Operations Manager
Alaina Trenholm began her career in the cannabis industry with a focus on managing retail operations in a rapidly scaling craft cannabis company. Since joining the Camas Consulting team in 2018, she has flourished in her role as the Compliance and Operations Manager and is an expert at navigating the complex political landscape of licensing cannabis retail environments – from the initial application process to the operational requirements of opening a fully compliant storefront.

Samantha Normandin
Director of People Operations
Samantha Normandin is the Director of Human Resources with work experience that has spanned several different industries, including tech start-ups, not-for-profits, liquor, and cannabis. She is a strategic leader who oversees all aspects of the Camas Human Resources team with an in-depth knowledge of best practices associated with office payroll, development of internal employee policies and procedures, and building performance management programs.

Kelly Tabor
Director of Finance
Kelly Tabor joined Camas Consulting as the Director of Finance in January 2019. Kelly is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with over fifteen years of practical business experience in a diverse range of industries including healthcare, hospitality, and cannabis retail and processing. She brings with her strong leadership skills and expertise in financial reporting, strategic planning, risk management, full cycle accounting, internal and external audit, treasury, budgeting, cash management, and tax compliance.

Marlies Elke
Senior Financial Accountant
Marlies Elke joined Team Camas as the Senior Financial Accountant in 2018. With 10+ years experience in accounting and corporate compliance for publicly traded mining and exploration companies, as well as 2 years in Advertising Technology, her skill set has been instrumental in setting up financial processes for Purple Camas Consulting.

Jasmine Vet
People Operations Manager
Jasmine Vet received her degree in Human Resources and Leadership from Camosun College in 2014 and has worked for over 6 years as an HR Generalist with a focus on recruitment in niche industries, including in the medical cannabis industry, with a focus on operations positions in the manufacturing sector. Upon joining the Camas team, she has become the HR Manager with a focus on recruiting and employee relations for a variety of positions and skill sets required for the cannabis industry, seeking out candidates for front-line retail as well as specialized executive-level roles.
